An “angry, threatening man” showed up at Kari Lake’s event in Des Moines, Iowa shortly after she arrived. A lot of people want election integrity so it makes sense her event was sold out. Police reported the owner of the yellow Jeep Renegade was ready to drive through the crowd but he fled as officers arrived. Nobody got the plates. Lake and her supporters will not be intimidated. She’s been threatened before.
Lake headquarters shut down
While she was on the campaign trail her headquarters received an envelope containing a “suspicious white powder”. Law enforcement agencies including hazmat and the local bomb squad were on it immediately.
The Jeep driver was described as “scruffy and big” and he “declared that he was god, and stated he would drive his vehicle through the bar doors.” He is still at large.

Lake addressed a full house
She stumped for President Trump. Local police put out a “Special Watch” for the unidentified threat. He took off from 1350 Southwest Vintage Parkway in Ankeny driving an older model Jeep Renegade.
The vehicle flew to the interstate before anybody could get the plate number. The owner of the District Venue where the Lake event took place did his part to help by parking his truck outside the back door should the man decide he was going to carry through on it.
Lake is controversial
She’s challenging the close election loss to Katie Hobbs. The press has called her an “election denier” since Lake is suing to overturn the election due to fraud charges.
She’s lost the first round of legal battles and has taken the fight to the appeals court. She expects the case will end up in the Arizona Supreme Court. She noted, “I have just enough Arizona in me and just enough Iowa in me and I’m not going to let them win.”
