NYC Mayor Eric Adams just disappeared.

With a migrant crisis hitting his city and winter storms about to crush the state, he decided to take off.

For days, nobody saw him or knew where he was.

It got to the point that New York Communities for Change made up a missing persons poster.

Where Is Eric

Adams took off just before the holiday and was gone for days.

So, people started to wonder where he was.

There is no way he would just leave the city on auto-pilot while he went off to play, right?

When Christmas eve arrived and Adams was not at a big press conference for areas of New York City that had been hit with heavy flooding, people really started to get upset.

All the powers that be in the city and state, including the governor were there, but Adams was gone.

Then it was revealed that Adams had, in fact, gone on vacation…

Patrick Bobilin a progressive activist, stated, “Part of the stewardship of being mayor or being an elected official is to be around, not just for the handshakes and photo ops but for the hard times too.

“It’s pretty suspicious that the mayor would be gone, especially since so many flights were cancelled or grounded in the last week. It’s kind of a Christmas miracle that he was able to get away.”

Now, it is not exactly a problem that Adams took a vacation, but the timing of the issue is what is getting to people.

That storm was on the radar, yet he left city officials and residents to fend for themselves.

They he got irate when he came back, stating, “It’s interesting that after 365 days, without a day off, sun up to sun down [of working]…I was amazed to see how you responded.

“This is my second Christmas without my mother. … So after 365 days of commitment to the city, I decided to take two days to reflect on mommy.

”And to watch how you responded to my two days out of this city, [that’s] really alarming. I deserve good work-life balance, like you do.”

Sorry, I cannot help but laugh. Did a 62-year-old man say he needed time off to reflect on his mommy?

I will leave it at that.
