One of the stars of what was one of the more popular TV shows has passed away.
Brad Henke, who starred in “Orange is the New Black,” passed away last week.
He died on Tuesday.
He was only 56 years old.
Gone Too Soon
If you were a fan of the show, you remember Henke as one of the prison guards on the show.
ONB ran on Netflix from 2013 to 2019.
His face was a familiar one, having also have made appearances in “Justified,” “Lost,” “ER,” “CSI,” “Judging Amy,” “Crossing Jordan,” “Dexter,” and “Chicago Hope.”
His manager, Mat DelPiano, broke the news.
DelPiano stated, “Brad was an incredibly kind man of joyous energy.
“A very talented actor, he loved being a part of this community … and we loved him back. Our thoughts are with his wife and family.”
Prior to acting, Henke played football in the NFL, including playing in Super Bowl XXIV for the Denver Broncos.
Unfortunately, due to injuries, his career was cut short and he was forced to retire in 1994.
