This week, Dr. Fauci made his final appearance in the White House briefing room.
The event clearly did not go as planned.
I am sure that after his gushing introduction, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre thought he would have an easy time at the podium.
Instead, reporters started to hammer Fauci with questions about COVID origins, which sent KJP to the moon.

The Daily Caller’s White House correspondent Diana Glebova has been getting under KJP’s skin, so KJP took the opportunity to try to dress her own publicly.
After Glebova shouted a question about COVID origins as Fauci stepped away from the podium, something that happens at every press conference, by the way, KJP slammed her.
She stated, “Hold on one second, we have a process here.
“I’m not calling on people who yell.
“You’re being disrespectful to your colleagues and you’re being disrespectful to our guest.
“I will not call on you if you yell, and also you’re taking time off the clock.”

As you heard, several members of the media came to Glebova’s defense, something that rarely happens in the briefing room.
There is a clear fracture here, and I would imagine that after trying to humiliate Glebova and addressing her like a child, that briefing room is only going to get tenser in the future.
