There are things Biden isn’t able to do that will regularly be put in his face. Taking care of our southern border is one of them. Several Republicans are taking matters into their own hands. Dan Patrick is the Lieutenant Governor of Texas and he’s made it clear that until the border is secure, illegal immigrants will continue to be bussed to Biden and Harris’ backyard. The language tells it like it is, an invasion.
Biden ignores the border
Patrick spoke on the situation, “I’m serious about this. The legislators are serious about this. The people of Texas are serious about it. The other thing I’d want to do, we’re spending, by the way, to put this in perspective to all these whiny babies up in these blue states, ‘Oh, this is such a crisis.’ We normally spend $400 million a year on border security. We’re spending over $4 billion of Texas taxpayer money, money we could spend on health care, on education, on more roads, whatever it might be, $4 billion a year. We have our National Guard there on the border. This is a financial burden on us. But most importantly, it’s an invasion of our state.”
It’s an invasion and needs to be called that for both legal and reality reasons. This helps law enforcement to act at the border.
Biden is absent
So Texas has to take care of its own. Wharton and Burnet counties have asked for “additional measures to secure the border, stop the invasion at the border, and protect our communities.”
Those two join 27 other counties that have asked for similar action. Biden left a big void so Texas is having to spend billions using the National Guard to help.
Biden shortfalls
Patrick continued, “I’ve said it for a long time, I’m not shy about the word. But we have to do this the right way. But I will also propose that since we’re spending so much money, I’d like to hire every Border Patrol agent on the border. Every one of them. There’s about 8,000.”
We need a new state border guard and make it so Biden doesn’t have one left. Nobody likes working for Biden but they love working for Texas.
