Border Patrol agents are getting tired of saying “welcome to Yuma” 900 times a day, as they process migrants through their revolving door. The only reason they lined those shipping crates up in the gaps along the border was to funnel everyone to the same gate. Muriel Bowser and Eric Adams think they have it tough.
Yuma overwhelmed by migrants
With a “record number” of invaders crossing our now non-existent southern border, Yuma is one of the towns bearing the brunt of the inconvenience.
In the past week alone, “more than 6,200 migrants were arrested and the people arriving at the border came from 44 different countries. 150 were children making the dangerous journey without parents.” Mixed in with this week’s batch are 15 with past felony convictions.
Today, in Yuma alone, agents expect to process between 800 to 900 people. That has a particularly devastating effect on the local hospital. Their one and only facility “services all the medical needs for the migrants, but it’s not being reimbursed from the federal government.”
Since Joe Biden refuses to fork over his fair share, which comes to $20 million for the past six months, the other patients will pay it. According to Mayor Douglas Nicholls, “those costs are then passed on to the other customers of the hospital.” In other words, don’t get seriously ill around there.
Despite the shipping containers blocking the holes, “more than 300,000 people have crossed the Yuma border this fiscal year, and it’s not over yet.” Mayor Nicholls notes that “is almost double from what we experienced the previous years.”
“These are numbers that we have never ever seen before.” They still have “about a five-mile gap along the Colorado River. That’s where the majority of people come through.” It’s all Joe’s fault.
Tag US soil and you’re safe
Under Joe Biden’s wide open border policy, “the migrants are allowed to stay on American soil once they touch it.” It never used to be like that. The whole burden and all the bills that go with it fall square on the city of Yuma. It’s nightmare for officials.
“The sheer amount of people who draw on resources affects the perception of the city, impacting tourism and job growth.” They are only a small part of the crisis.
Mayor Nicholls points out that Joe’s open border “is not just a Yuma problem, but a nationwide problem because although some migrants coming over are staying in Yuma, others are going to other places around the country.”
Places like D.C., New York City, Martha’s Vineyard and even Biden’s back yard of Rehoboth, Maryland. The hilarious part about it is that Biden’s neighbors are totally behind the buses coming up from the border lands.
The crisis has gotten so far out of control that “a group of sheriffs from Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, California, and most of the other states will gather in Cochise County to tackle the border crisis.” From Yuma to El Paso, the overwhelming flood has shattered all records.
Agents tagged in 2.2 million so far this year. They estimate around 500,000 more slipped through without being noticed. Statistically, that means a whole bunch of terrorists probably sneaked in with them. That’s a statistic that Alejandro Mayorkas refuses to acknowledge, calling the southern border perfectly safe and secure.
