According to multiple reports, a shooting occurred right outside Six Flags Great America in suburban Chicago, leaving at least three people injured.
The Gurnee Police Department stated that numerous 911 calls were made in reaction to the incident, to which officers immediately responded at around 7:50 p.m. at the site of the park, about 45 miles north of the city of Chicago.
“The shooting … was not a random act, and appeared to be a targeted incident that occurred outside the park,” police said in a statement posted to Facebook.
Six Flags shared that two individuals were rushed to a nearby hospital for evaluation while a third declined treatment at the scene of the shooting.
The conditions of the three have not been confirmed.
Multiple videos have been posted online showing the incident, which created mass chaos and confusion.
Footage can be ween of parkgoers attempting to take shelter or hide. Multiple agencies responded, including Illinois State Police.
According to police, the suspects exited a vehicle and fired shots at an individual in the parking lot before driving away.

CBS Chicago offered more details on the incident:
Three people were shot Sunday in the front entrance parking lot at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, law enforcement confirms to CBS 2.
Several ambulances have been called to the scene.
The shots came from a single vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle immediately drove away, according to the communications team at Six Flags.
Two people were taken to the hospital for evaluation and a third person refused treatment.
Video circulating on social media shows park goers crouched down and hiding where they had been in line.
The shooting happened as the park was closing. Witnesses says they saw other parkgoers running after shots were fired.
“I thought there were fireworks right away. Then we saw hundreds of people running,” said Charlie Donda. “”It was pretty scary but we are safe.”
The investigation remains ongoing with no suspects in custody currently.
