The people of East Palestine, Ohio, are not very happy with Mr. Joe Biden.
Three weeks ago, a train derailed in their small community, spilling harmful chemicals all over the place.
Their water supply has been tainted, the soil ruined, and their air was hardly breathable for days.
Yet, instead of visiting them, Joe Biden decided to do a photo op in Ukraine.
Says Who He Is
Mayor Trent Conaway said that he considered the trip by Biden to be a “slap in the face” of his city.
He stated, “That was the biggest slap in the face that tells you right now, he doesn’t care about us.
“So … he can send every agency he wants to but I found that out this morning and one of the briefings that he was in the Ukraine giving millions of dollars away to people over there, not to us and I’m furious.
“Yeah, Presidents Day in our country. He’s … over in Ukraine.
“So that tells you what kind of guy he is.”
Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg has also avoided this trip, finally stating, after 20 days, that he will get there.
However, he refused to commit to a specific timeline.
Everyone keeps talking about how Joe Biden is such a great leader, but leaders do not run away from a crisis for a photo op, but that is exactly what Joe Biden did.
Rather than face the cameras and a hostile crowd in East Palestine, he chose to hug a man that has taken American taxpayers for one hell of a ride.
