Colorado is less than seven days from ballots going out.
Well, guess what Secretary of State Jena Griswold “accidentally” did.
Her office sent out voter registration cards to 30,000 non-citizens.
Sorry About That
Colorado has been trending blue recently, but red is starting to make headway again.
Regardless, you cannot be sending voter registration cards to 30,000 people that have no right to vote!
It appears that Griswold’s office just used the DMV list without properly filtering it.
Colorado’s Republican Party chair, Kristi Burton Brown, was livid.
She stated, “Jena Griswold continues to make easily avoidable errors just before ballots go out.”
This would not be a problem if they were not issuing licenses to non-citizens.
Since they are, there is some level of competence that is needed.
That, as we know, is in short supply in the political world.
