For all the fallout for Trump after the debate, it really did not have much of an impact on the election.
If anything, it actually hurt Democrats in some states, if you can believe that,
One of them being in Pennsylvania, where a blowout for incumbent Senator Bob Casey (D-A) seemed imminent, but the situation has changed rather dramatically.
Coming Back
Casey is running against Republican Dave McCormick.
It was not that long ago that McCormick was down by 7% in polling.
The most recent CNN poll had McCormick within striking distance, though, just a few points down.
Donald Trump has endorsed McCormick, so he does have the support of MAGA, but he does not have nearly the resources that Casey has to support him in this race.
That is what makes his comeback against Casey even more baffling for Democrats.
What we have seen in battleground races is a bit shocking, considering that Harris is now leading Trump in national polls.
All those undecided voters who were waiting for Harris to provide them with more information are starting to shift to Trump only two months before the election.
Harris is trying to win this race by not being Trump, but these voters are specifically asking for answers, and Harris is not providing them.
You can say what you want about Trump as a person, but his policies are solid and this country thrived when he was in DC.
It looks like the clock is ticking on Harris and people are slowly moving over to Trump.
When you consider the fact this election is likely to be decided by the Blue Wall states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, this is not good news for Trump.
In all likelihood, Harris has to carry all three of these states to win, and a Republican underdog senator is not a good sign being this close to Casey is not a good sign for Harris in terms of how this election is going to go.
