Speaker Mike Johnson unabashedly joined with Biden and the Democrats to send more money overseas. He established new guidelines that rigged the upcoming vote and over rode the American people. This bill is unique, providing Ukraine funds as long as their war with Russia continues. If the two countries want to go to war, it should be declared. We’re going up against a huge nuclear power.
The Speaker needs to secure the border
Billions are being given to Taiwan, a very wealthy nation that is capable of purchasing American military tools on the free market on its own. This sets up a potential confrontation with an enormous nuclear power, China.
Taiwan isn’t in a war, why are we giving them money? Americans can’t afford groceries or fuel for their vehicles, we need that money here!
The Speaker let it happen
Johnson spoke with Biden behind closed doors and establishment Republicans have been working on him for months. We might not ever know what happened. Republicans don’t have a lot of control and this bill gives what little control they had away.
He violated the Hastert rule again. A clear majority of Republicans, 101 to 112, opposed it. They wanted to give Biden a victory. A lawmaker spoke on condition of anonymity, “We’ve been working with him for months to try to get him there. It would grant Biden a major foreign policy victory that has eluded him for a year.”
Vacate another speaker
With the Washington swamp in control, the House Republican Caucus is the only thing that can stop it. Legislation would at least be slowed. There’s an aid package already in existence that has sat in the Senate since last year that can be advanced with a simple majority vote. The Israel aid has been ballooning. It started at $10 billion. It’s over $24 billion now.
If Israel wants or needs this, could it take out a loan instead? The American people need that money! It looks the Speaker has abandoned his party to advance with Biden for war. Americans don’t want war!
