There’s two sides to that coin. The Democrat abortion on demand agenda brought out those that were part of that one percent. Rep. Bob Good of Virginia brought Ryan Bomberger to Thursday’s address. He’s a pro life activist and co founder of The Radiance Foundation. He’s against abortion, including in cases of rape, because he was conceived in rape. His mother chose life and adoption rather than abortion.
Rape still gives life
Good and beautiful things can come out of something horrible. Democrats want stories like his silenced because it runs against their narrative.
Bomberger announced ahead of the address, “As someone conceived in rape but adopted in love, I’m honored to be Congressman Good’s guest at the State of the Union.” He put out a statement, “President Biden and the Democratic Party take pride in the violent injustice of abortion and deny the Blessings of Liberty to our Posterity. I am that one percent they use to justify one hundred percent of abortions.”
I am excited to have @ryanbomberger, a courageous pro-life warrior, join me for the President’s State of the Union address. His own story of being "conceived in rape, adopted in love," is a testament to the value of life no matter what stage or circumstances. @StudentsforLife pic.twitter.com/0hhXzaOAhQ

Rape is about power and control
But good can always overcome that. He accused Democrats of
“violently den[ying] people of my origin our humanity. The same political Party that violently denied people of my complexion our personhood, is the same Democratic Party that violently denies people of my origin our humanity. Frederick Douglass was also conceived in rape. Imagine history without his eloquence and moral clarity on the injustice of slavery.”
Activists want him to be quiet.
“Planned Parenthood and their political allies don’t like my storyline, because it shatters their narratives of fear. I am proof that triumph can rise from tragedy. I’ll keep fighting for the most dehumanized and marginalized among us because that was once me. As an adoptee and adoptive father, our nation needs to do more to protect the most vulnerable. Nobody is better off dead. We’re all better off loved.”

Life after rape
Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana brought his state’s Right to Life guest, Benjamin Clapper. Cassidy put out a statement,
“Ben has committed his life to speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves. Protecting an unborn child’s right to life is one of our most sacred obligations. I’m proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ben at the State of the Union, steadfast in our commitment to the sanctity of life.”
Biden is furious about the Supreme Court putting the abortion decision back on the states. His position is that Republicans that value life are extreme and it’s all Trump’s fault that Roe v Wade was put back out to the states.
