I would like to think that my wife and I have a very trusting relationship. I believe that you might be able to have as much love as you can handle but if you don’t have trust you really don’t have much of a relationship.
Some so many people are in relationships that for whatever reason don’t trust each other. They are constantly on each other’s backs always looking out for what the other is doing.
For example, we have a friend of the family who had been in a relationship with his girlfriend for a couple of years when he came over one night and told me that he had broken it off. The reason that he gave is that he was going through a backpack that he uses for work and saw that there was a patch that was stitched that he knew he hadn’t put there.
So he took a pair of scissors and ripped it open. He found not one, but TWO Apple AirTags.
Apparently, despite working from home, his girlfriend had it in his head that the two times a week that he did have to travel to an office was a total lie and that he was cheating on her during the day.
I’m grateful for the fact that I have a trusting and loving relationship.
Now, to a case of someone who when you look at their relationship you have to classify it as “I don’t know what the hell is going on here.”
Debbie Wood is a 42-year-old woman who has been in a relationship for some time with a man named Steve.
Guys, you know how you might have a woman you are in a relationship with who might not like you going to the bar with a particular friend? Debbie doesn’t let Steve do anything. When I say anything, I mean it.
Television? Totally out of the question unless it is something she had approved. Her reason is that he might be attracted to another woman.
She goes through his bank account looking for any discrepancy that might show he was unfaithful. Hell, this next one takes the cake. Every time he leaves the house and goes somewhere, she makes him take a lie detector test to prove he wasn’t lying.
Doctors have said she has something called Othello Syndrome in which one of the symptoms is what is referred to as delusional jealousy. When you might be asked what you got at the grocery store by your girlfriend, this woman wants to interrogate her man about what color shirt the cashier was wearing.
