Being fit and being attractive are two qualities that often go hand in hand, but sometimes it can be a double-edged sword. Take, for example, Andrea Sunshine, a personal trainer based in London.
The grandmother of two has become an Instagram sensation with thousands of followers. However, her fame on the social media platform led to her being “banned” from dating apps because she was “too hot”.
Andrea is Brazilian-born and has been divorced for some time now. She admits to enjoying dating more than the average person might and says that she’s had many one night stands between relationships.
On average, she claims to have dated 3-5 people per week – both men and women since she identifies as bisexual – which works out to 720 people over the course of a year. While this number may seem suspicious to some dating apps, there could be another explanation for why her account was terminated.
Andrea is incredibly toned and looks half her age thanks to working out up to eight hours a day at the gym. She competes against women half her age in physique competitions and often places in the top five, earning herself the nickname ‘Beast’.
This dedication has also attracted younger men who are drawn to good looking mature ladies like herself who possess more experience than inexperienced young ladies do. However Andrea doesn’t put much thought into any attraction she feels or stirs up in others instead believing that humans are instinctive beings so emotions can’t always be controlled by us all of the time.
Although Andrea enjoys treating herself every now and then with meals, she insists on maintaining balance by adhering strictly to a workout regimen which allows her body enough rest while still keeping fit. This is very important as it helps maintain strength without becoming exhausted too easily or risking injury.
Even though she may have been banned from using certain dating apps due to suspicion around how many matches she had received, one thing’s for sure – when it comes down to being in great shape, there certainly isn’t any shortage of admirers.
