Donald Trump and several of his surrogates have been very complimentary about Vivek Ramaswamy.
MAGA has apparently fallen in love with this man.
During the Turning Point conference earlier this year, Ramaswamy was voted as the next favorite if Trump is unable to run.
There have been a very small number of conservative writers, myself included, warning this man is a fraud, and he just proved us right.
Cannot Support Him
I want to look at three recent issues for Ramaswamy.
First, when he was at the Iowa State Fair, he made a fool of himself performing Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.”
It was not about his awful rapping, but it was about the fact he chose to do a song by an artist that has been very critical of both Trump and his supporters, calling them brainwashed.
Next would be his recent stance on the legalization of hard drugs.
He stated, “You don’t hear me talk about the war on drugs. I’m not a war on drugs person.”
He later added, “I think in the long run, and I’m talking about over a long run period of time, decriminalization, serially, is an important part of the long run solution here. … That’s gotta be part of the solution.”
Finally, there is the idea of possibly pardoning Hunter Biden.
Ramaswamy stated, “After the I am leading the great revival.
“After we have shut down the FBI, after we have refurbished the Department of Justice, after we have systemically pardoned anyone who was a victim of a political motivated persecution — from Donald Trump and peaceful January 6 protests — then would I would be open to evaluating pardons for members of the Biden family in the interest of moving the nation forward.”
Legalization of drugs, pardoning Hunter Biden, and Eminem… three things MAGA despises, and he is embracing them all.
Tell me again how this man is a MAGA conservative worthy of our support?
