You get what you vote for. If lootings continue, more California stores will close. Although Los Angeles was hit hard in 2008, it never looked like this. Some areas looked like a bomb had hit that year. Small business closed down. Beverly Hills has always had wealthy and they’ve always wanted nice things – until now. When you vote to be nice to criminals, they take til there’s nothing left.
Democrat policies hit the stores
Any theft less than $950 is now a misdemeanor. The criminals might bring their calculators. The ballot initiative passed easily in 2014, 60 to 40. On top of that, bigger California cities voted for prosecutors who refuse to prosecute.
What did they expect? Those 4.2 million voters might have felt virtuous but criminals aren’t stupid. They might be illiterate but they can game the system as well as anybody who makes their living as a thief.

Stores imploding
Even Beverly Hills can become boarded up due to losing too much money. Even the wealthy need to deal with some of the consequences of their actions. For the moment, they’re still safe in their homes. Not everybody is. They still have their private places to drink without fear of being shot.
Over a dozen high end Beverly Hills retailers and restaurants have left without any replacements moving in. Some brands have filed for bankruptcy.
Barren stores
The city was known for its glamour and opulence. The wealthy and famous went there and were often photographed. In 2020 Andrew Anglin warned crime would get out of control soon and regularly told people to get out of the cities. But even he might not have expected things to get this bad.
The good news is we have some different entertainment. Since California movies have left something to be desired, the theater now will consist of watching the state implode. Democrats never admit to being wrong nor do they vote for change. The voters have no sense and the politicians are blackhearted. We can watch them get what they voted for.
