The current French riots may preclude a civil war. It has meaning for us too. It’s not just because we’re old allies and it’s writers and philosophers became a part of Western culture. We’re upset over the same thing, massive immigration and a ruling party at war with its citizens. It all started when police shot a 17 year old African running from a traffic stop. As a result, people set France on fire.
Riots tearing the place apart
Buildings are burning to the ground and people are pushing cars off their elevated parking spots to the ground below. President Emmanuel Macron was partying at a concert while his country burned showing all where his priorities were.
Young Frenchmen protected their own and overwhelmed the police. There might have been more fighting but nobody knows because Macron shut down parts of the internet. It was done partially to shut down social media and partially to keep the government’s embarrassment down.
Riots are the result of government policies
Macron is trying to keep the flow of information down but people are taking to their cell phones instead. Most of the rioters are Middle Eastern and African. They aren’t assimilating into French society.
Racism is again being blamed – so what else is new – but the problem isn’t the French people. It’s a government that’s more interested in global agenda items such as climate change rather than minding the business of its own country. Their situation is similar to ours.
Riots could happen here too
The American government has been bad enough to open our borders wide while at the same time teaching people to hate it. Government and media are encouraging war to destroy nations. Immigrants want to come to a place because the living is better but when they arrive, people are being taught to hate it so unrest follows.
On one side are traditional Americans trying to protect their way of life from both incoming migrants as well as from a government that treats the citizens with contempt. Americans find themselves aligned with a French patriot like the Marquis de Lafayette who fought with Washington and his army. French patriots, we fight with you.
