A substitute teacher in Mt. Zion Elementary School, Carroll County, Georgia has been arrested for 19 counts of child sexual abuse after she “allegedly” pleasured herself in front of nineteen 8-year-old children during class.
The vile incident took place on January 28 and the school was immediately tipped off by staff following complaints of misconduct.
Carroll County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Ashley Hulsey slammed the school teacher calling her inappropriate behavior “disturbing.”
She revealed that Ressler recorded herself while performing the act and disseminated it to Snapchat without hesitation, with police gaining access to the original video which showed all 19 children present in the classroom at the time. Hulsey also stated that it was clear that “the kids could look up and visually see what she was doing at the time”.
In terms of damage done, investigators are currently conducting interviews with each child to determine how badly they were psychologically affected by this traumatic experience.
There is no doubt that this is a crime that should never be taken lightly as it will certainly leave lasting psychological effects on these innocent children who had no choice but to bear witness to such an appalling act.
Ashley Hulsey summed it up perfectly saying: “It’s one of these things that kids shouldn’t have to go through…the mental anguish it’s causing these children and parents…was our drive behind working this case.”
Ressler now faces felony charges for each student present during this horrendous event and will remain in jail until her upcoming court appearance.
It is absolutely essential that justice is served as soon as possible so as not only punish Ressler for her inexcusable actions but also send a message out there about taking accountability for such crimes against innocent minors who deserve better than what they experienced here!
