A new report has surfaced from the Washington Post that shows another negative spotlight on the FBI.
The report revealed that there was serious pushback on the raid at Mar-a-Lago.
When high-ranking officials pushed back, they were pretty much told to shut up.
What’s the Difference?
FBI Washington field office head Steven M. D’Antuono tried to stop the raid, believing it was way over the top.
D’Antuono reportedly stated, “We are not the presidential records police.”
When he asked if, in fact, Trump was the target of a criminal investigation, he was told, “What does that matter?”
Those that supported the raid were counterintelligence chief Jay Bratt and Assistant Attorney General Matt Olsen.
When Merrick Garland were asked about these conversations, he denied it was a big issue.
He stated, “there is often a robust discussion and it’s encouraged among investigators and prosecutors.”
My guess here is that the rank and file in the FBI are starting to get fed up with this nonsense.
There is one rogue element in DC that is made up of agents and leadership that is leading this effort, and they have to be outed and removed.
Unfortunately, until we can take back over the White House, there is very little we can do about it.
