Joe Biden has finally done another media interview.
Did he choose CNN, MSNBC, or a major network?
Did he dare to go on Fox News and take some actual tough questions?
No… he chose Comedy Central and Kal Penn.
What a Joke
Normally, an interview like this would be part of any presidency, but this is no normal presidency.
Joe Biden rarely does interviews, so the fact he is choosing a gay, pothead comedian on a Comedy Central show that has no experience in political interviews shows you just how much Biden disrespects the American people.
He chose someone that is literally neck-deep in the entire Democrat agenda… so how tough of an interview was this going to be?
To that point, Penn asked Biden, “My partner, Josh, and I, have been engaged for the last five years, which really only means that every auntie and uncle that I have is beyond disappointed that there has not been a wedding yet.
“My question for you, Mr. President, is you codified support for same-sex marriage and interracial marriage like ours. I’m curious what your evolution was like on marriage equality, and what the federal government might be able to do to protect LGBTQ Americans, especially trans kids who are dealing with all of these regressive state laws that are popping up right now.”
Biden responded, “I hadn’t thought much about it, to tell you the truth.
“And I was a senior in high school.
“And my dad was dropping me off and I was about to get out of the car and I looked to my right and two well-dressed men in suits kissed each other.
“I mean, they gave each other a kiss.
“And then one went, looked like he was headed to the Dupont Building, one looked like he was going to the Hercules Corporation Building.
“And I’ll never forget, I turned and looked at my dad, he said, ‘Joe, it is simple. They love each other.
“It is simple.’ I’m not joking, it is simple. They love each other.
“And it has never been – it has never been – it is just that simple. It doesn’t matter whether it is same-sex or heterosexual couple. You should be able to be married.
“What is the problem? So listen to your auntie and your uncle. Get married. Do it now, don’t wait.”
We know the so-called epiphany is a lie, but I would wager the entire story is a lie.
But, how do I know the “epiphany” was a lie?
In a 2006 interview, Joe Biden stated, “We already have a law, the Defense of Marriage Act, we’ve all voted, not, or I voted and others and said, ‘Look, marriage is between a man and a woman, and states must respect that.
“Nobody’s violated that law; there’s been no challenge to that law; why do we need a constitutional amendment? Marriage is between a man and a woman.”
During the 2008 election, Joe Biden stated, “No. Barack Obama nor I support redefining from a civil side what constitutes marriage.”
If Penn had an ounce of experience he would have known that instead of staring into Biden’s eyes like he was looking at the greatest man on the planet.
Biden lies… that is what he does.
