Our new House Speaker has just turned the Democrat world on its head.
Speaker McCarthy (R-CA) has confirmed that he will be removing several Democrats from their committee positions.
As anticipated, Reps. Swalwell, Schiff, and Omar will no longer be on their respective committees.
Tit for Tat
McCarthy is going to take heat from this from both the media and Democrats.
First, Pelosi started this by removing Republicans from their committee assignments when she was Speaker.
That aside, McCarthy, at least in my opinion, is very much justified in making this call.
I do not think I need to recap Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) atrocities to justify her removal.
Swalwell was literally involved with a Chinese spy, yet he was sitting on the intelligence committee.

Schiff was leaking classified information to the media, not to mention the number of times he lied to the American people.
McCarthy touched on all of this, stating, “Swalwell can’t get a security clearance in the private sector. I’m not going to give him a government security clearance. Schiff has lied too many times to the American public. He should not be on Intel.”
He continued, “I made all [three] cases before. It’s not like it’s anything new… Remember, this is what Nancy Pelosi, this is the type of Congress she wanted to have.”
I have seen reports that Nadler could be removed as well, but that has not yet been confirmed.
If we see confirmation on that, we will report it.
