Residents of East Palestine, Ohio have all but been ignored by Biden. The train derailment has upended their lives, spilling toxic chemicals everywhere. Trent Conaway is the city’s mayor and he let the President have it. His priority is supposed to be United States citizens when instead he’s giving money to Ukraine. East Palestine people have been told to fend for themselves when Biden is sending money elsewhere.
The mayor spoke to Jesse Watters
Biden slapped the community and indicated he cares more about the Ukraine than the disaster in Ohio.
“That was the biggest slap in the face. That tells you right now he doesn’t care about us. Biden can send every agency he wants to, but I found out this morning in one of the briefings that he was in Ukraine giving millions of dollars away to people over there and not to us. That tells you what kind of guy he is.”
The media hardly covered it. It wasn’t until local reporters and social media made them, twisted arms, that it was covered.

The mayor is furious with Biden
Who pretended it didn’t even happen. He was even taking a victory lap about his environmental policies saving the earth. “Because of our climate investments, our kids will breathe cleaner air, drink safer water, and get to school powered by clean energy.”
Biden hasn’t made a disaster declaration so FEMA is staying as far away as the President has. It was only after 15 days that the feds showed up.
Pete Buttigieg was silent
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg took 10 days to speak about the disaster. His focus is on not enough racial diversity in the construction sector.
Conaway has no resources to deal with this. Nobody in East Palestine is to blame for it. Biden is the leader of the United States but he doesn’t behave that way. The mayor would at least like to see effort directed his way.
