Cheating Cop Shot by Wife, The Drama Intensifies

Internal affairs is probing an incident where a cop was shot by the wife of her cheating police partner, while a third officer was on the phone with her, helping the wife to resist arrest. After a parking lot shooting, the romantically entangled officers fled for their lives before calling 911. Their co-workers were the ones who came out to investigate, which makes the report an interesting read.

Cop shot by wife

A female cop was shot by the wife of her partner and they split the scene before calling it in to the office. What happened late one Sunday night, May 8, outside the Home Depot on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, in West Palm Beach, Florida, was no ordinary shooting.

The “victim” admits that’s what can happen when you’re sleeping with your married partner.

As spelled out in the arrest report, the unnamed cop “victim” admitted “that she has been romantically involved with a married man, who she identified as [name], and his wife Sandra Osborne for approximately one (1) year.

That seems to imply they may have had a threesome or two but decided to leave Sandra out of it.

News outlets relate that “Sandra Osborne, 49, was accused in the shooting, but this case gets even more complicated.” The report leaves out a few of the juicier cop related details.

For instance the arrest report did not say that her husband was the West Palm Beach police officer in the passenger seat and the person described as “victim” was his police officer mistress.

Another officer involved

Thickening the plot even further, “besides the alleged affair, a police officer who wasn’t even on patrol tried to help her, and he got into trouble with Internal Affairs.” In this instance, “her” is the enraged wife. The third cop was giving her bad advice over the phone as she was arrested.

The report describes the facts of the shooting. While the lovers were parked at the local Home Depot for a quickie, Miss Victim “observed a car she did not recognize [description] driving quickly and erratically toward her vehicle.” Her partner should have recognized it but he may have been busy.

Sandra exited the passenger front seat of the vehicle with what [the victim] described as an all-black compact pistol, which Sandra moments later fired into the side of [the victim]’s vehicle. [The victim] was able to drive out of the parking lot to safety and dialed 911.” Basic cop instinct.

After Sandra drove off, the department put out an alert and she was stopped. Four more officers arrived.

When they got there, she was “on the phone with Officer Padgett.” Yet another cop. He’s the one internal affairs is investigating. “Padgett appeared to be providing Sandra Osborne ongoing and incorrect legal advice.

For instance, “Officer Padgett appeared to be providing Sandra Osborne ongoing and incorrect legal advice such as ‘they don’t have probable cause to go in your car.‘ This continued until [a sergeant] arrived on scene. [The sergeant] took Sandra Osborne’s cell phone away and placed it into evidence, pending a warrant.” There was another woman and three children in Osborne’s car when she was arrested.
