Joe Biden got a little up close and personal with NBC News’ Kristen Welker this week.
When Welker asked Biden a question, he charged forward, put his hand over hers on the umbrella, stood about two inches from her face, and answered the question.
It was a power move from the old days, but that nonsense does not go over too well today.
Too Close
Now, as you read this report, rather than Joe Biden, start thinking about names like Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and Ron DeSantis and think about how differently this all would have gone down.
Welker asked Biden about the ending of the COVID emergency rules.
This is not about his answer, but rather how he reacted when he approached Welker…
One… since when is it okay to touch someone without their permission. And before you come after me for this, I am only reiterating the new liberal playbook.
Some people might go so far as to call that an assault of some sort.
Two… when is it okay to get that close to someone and invade their “personal” space?
Three… if that is a male reporter, does Joe Biden respond the same way?
Do you really see him putting his hand over Peter Doocy’s from Fox News’, getting a few inches from his face, and answering the question?
I doubt Welker will make anything of it because, well, It’s Joe, but what he did, by today’s standard, is not okay.
