Sarah Huckabee Sanders was just sworn in as the governor of Arkansas.
She has a big job ahead of her to fix the state after eight years of Asa Hutchinson.
The roads are a mess, the education system is a mess, and Hutchinson started pacifying the woke crowd.
Those first two issues will take time to fix, but Sanders could do something right away over the latter issue, and she did.
First up was TikTok, which is now banned on all Arkansas state devices.
Sanders’ order stated, “It is the position of this administration to undertake strong and prudent measures to protect the information and communications systems used by state entities, public primary and secondary schools, cities and counties, and public safety organizations from harm to prevent both unauthorized access and exploitation of the critical data stored within and traveling through those systems.”
She has also banned the term “LatinX” from government documents.
Sanders wrote, “Ethnically insensitive and pejorative language has no place in official government documents or government employee titles.
“The government has a responsibility to respect its citizens and use ethnically appropriate language, particularly when referring to ethnic minorities.”
Now it is time for her to tackle education, which is a major priority for her and residents.
Sanders stated, “I’ve made no secret that the biggest priority I have for this session is a large-scale education reform package.
“I am living it every day with a fifth-grader, a third-grader and a first-grader, and I feel the impact of education and what it means and what it means to each kid.”
Best of luck, Sarah!
