For most people, August 18 has very little significance unless it is a birthday or anniversary.
For a few thousand Americans, it was the day the sitting president lied to them and abandoned them.
On August 18, 2021, Joe Biden vowed that military boots would be on the ground until the last American came home… but he lied.

We will probably never know the real number, but we do know this…
There are still people trying to get out.
A State Department spokesperson stated, “We continue to work with U.S. citizens who have expressed a desire to depart Afghanistan and have the necessary travel documents to do so.
“This number fluctuates regularly as U.S. citizens change their minds about leaving, or as some continue to return to Afghanistan for various reasons.”
Yet, this was Joe when he was asked about this very situation a year ago…

Biden continues to celebrate this withdrawal as a success, but it was anything but.
Hundreds of innocents and 13 troops died during the withdrawal.
Thousands of Americans were likely abandoned behind enemy lines, and tens of thousands of Afghans who worked for the United States were abandoned.
Not to mention the $7 billion in equipment.
To this day, the media has never held Biden accountable for this atrocity, all because he followed up behind the bad orange man.
