Over a week into the mid terms and votes are still being counted in some states. Republicans have the majority but Lauren Boebert is squeaking by with a lead of 1,122 votes and 95% reporting in. A ballot that was rejected has until Wednesday to be straightened out. A ballot might be rejected by something such as a missing signature. When results are taking this long to come in it’s important to keep a sense of humor.
Boebert is patient
Her Democrat opponent Adam Frisch is taking this one day at a time as well. “We’re still in this fight. Just in a holding pattern. As ballots continue to be counted, we continue to feel proud of where we stand and what we’ve accomplished.”
The process involved in fixing a rejected ballot of curing. The Washington Examiner reported on this. “The process of curing a ballot involves voters taking their ballot that was initially rejected due to problems that include, as noted by Newsweek, a missing signature or signature discrepancy and then matching a signature on file or providing identification in some cases.”

Boebert is not racist
Democrats might scream asking for ID is racist but it’s not in Colorado. Hold steady and keep your eyes on the prize that will that much sweeter when Pelosi is gone.
Boebert tweeted out that sentiment, “Waiting this long for election results is going to make firing Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House that much sweeter.” Nancy was indeed sent packing with Republicans taking the majority. What remains to be seen is just how much of majority they have.
Boebert could use a bigger margin
Colorado law could trigger a recount if the margin between the two candidates is .5% of less. That could drag the process out that much longer. December 13 is the final day to complete a recount with December 15 being the day for the requested recount.
Why are other states able to count votes within hours while others might take a month? This is one of the first priorities for President Trump is to work on the voting system. If there’s no integrity in it, it’s worthless. “To eliminate cheating, I will immediately demand voter ID, same-day voting, and only paper ballots.”
