Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul, a Democrat,  has vowed that he will not do his legal duty if the Supreme Court of the United States allows the people of Wisconsin to pass a law prohibiting abortion. Wisconsin is one of the 21 states with laws on the books which will instantly take effect to ban abortion as soon as the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade. Wisconsin’s law against killing unborn babies dates back to 1849 but the state has been unable to enforce it for decades now.

Wisconsin will not arrest people who kill babies

Does that make any sense to anyone? The federal government has for decades told the people of a state in the union that it will be punished if it attempts to enforce its own ban on murdering babies.

Now their own attorney general is preemptively informing them that he will not enforce their law should the federal government give the state permission to reinstate it.

It is thought by many that this is a real possibility with a majority conservative court finally hearing a case related to a state’s restrictions on abortion.

Pro-abortion activists are as anxious as pro-life activists are hopeful about the coming decision, which might open the floodgates for statewide abortion bans overnight and ensure that they are no longer allowed to freely kill babies.

Wisconsin is one of those few states which has laws on the books predating Roe v. Wade which explicitly ban abortion but with decades having passed since the ban could last be enforced there is considerable confusion about what exactly might happen.

Josh Kaul, for one, is in no doubt about what will happen. Like Governor Tony Evers, Kaul vocally supports abortion and intends to allow it regardless of what the law says.

Democrats double down on extremist policies

Both Evers and Kaul are seeking reelection in 2022 and they are making it clear to state Democrats that they will do everything in their power to permit abortion in Wisconsin.

In a less polarized time Kaul would be voted out of office if he openly told the people of his state that he intends to enforce only laws which he personally approves of.

He might still be voted out if Wisconsin voters oust him in a year which is projected to be a very good one for Republican candidates nationwide.

The fact that there is any question about it is a testament to the ferocity with which Democrats are determined to maintain their unquestionable right to murder babies.

The United States has some of the most extreme abortion permissiveness in the world and the Democrats as a party are hoping to expand these policies into a territory that would be matched only by China or North Korea.

With liberal justices claiming that the ability to feel pain is not an indication of life, it has become clear that questions of when life begins are no longer central to pro-abortion arguments. Abortion extremists truly  feel that they have a right to abortion even if they know that they are murdering babies.
