Kevin McCarthy has announced his prediction for the upcoming 2024 presidential election, and its one that many others are putting their faith into as well. During an appearance on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo, House Speaker McCarthy expressed confidence in former President Donald Trump’s ability to prevail over all others in the nomination race.
In fact, he believes that Trump is stronger than he was during both his 2016 and 2020 presidential runs and will be able to secure the Republican Party’s nomination for president in 2024.
Kevin McCarthy stands behind President Trump 100% and says that DeSantis isn’t on Trump’s level in any shape or form????

McCarthy has spoken approvingly of Trump since he took office, citing some of his successes such as putting America first and making our economy stronger while avoiding inflation and international conflicts.
Despite facing four indictments from New York, Washington D.C., Fulton County, Georgia, and Southern Florida last year, polls show that Trump is still gaining ground on President Joe Biden – even surpassing him in some areas.
The former president now holds a slight advantage over Biden among independent voters according to recent surveys.
In a hypothetical head-to-head contest for the 2024 election between Biden and Trump, it appears as if they are deadlocked at 39%.
When Bartiromo brought up Ron DeSantis’ proposed government shutdown as an alternative measure to funding it, McCarthy noted how this would only give strength to Democrats by giving more power to Biden, who wouldn’t be able to pay either troops or border agents under such conditions.
This idea did not sit well with McCarthy who instead wants something achieved rather than just proving someone right or wrong – which is why he believes President Trump has been so successful throughout his time in office due to his ability of achieving these things rather than just talking about them.
Echelon Insights released polling data back in July which showed that 48% of respondents from swing states would likely vote for Donald Trump versus 41% for Joe Biden – giving him enough electoral college votes needed should he win these swing states come 2024.
This was further supported by Reuters/Ipsos poll which indicated that many voters were concerned about crime rates and the economy when choosing between the two candidates – but also cited age being a factor when considering their choice too.
It looks like House Speaker Kevin McCarthy may be onto something here given all these recent surveys indicating Donald Trumps growing popularity despite all odds against him.
