Joe Biden has just been informed by House Speaker McCarthy (R-CA) that he is on the clock.
Republicans want very specific bank records, but the Bidens have been unwilling to turn them over.
Now McCarthy is threatening to open an impeachment inquiry if he does not get what he wants.
Turn Them Over
We know Hunter Biden took money from foreign governments.
We also know that money was distributed among family members.
We also know that they were funneling money through various shell companies, so this is a job for a forensic accountant, but they cannot do anything until they get that banking information.
McCarthy stated, “If [the Bidens] provide us the documents, there wouldn’t be a need for an impeachment inquiry.
“But if they withhold the documents and fight like they have now to not provide to the American public what they deserve to know, we will move forward with impeachment inquiry when we come back into session.”
So, if Joe Biden is willing to withstand an impeachment inquiry to keep his family banking information safe, is that not a silent admission of guilt?
After all, is that not the conclusion Democrats reached when Trump did not want to turn over his tax documents?
Fair is fair, right?
