Former Vice President Mike Pence sent a veiled message to Governor Ron DeSantis.
The GOP field is filling up, but most of us expected it to be significantly more crowded by now.
Mike Pence is challenging those that want to run to get in soon, or stay out of the way.

Pence has not announced himself, and I really do not expect him to.
He has to know that he does not have the support to win, but you just never know these days.
This is an ego thing for many of them, just to say they ran and tried to win.
In what I am assuming was a direct message to DeSantis, Pence is telling him to sh** or get off the pot.
Pence stated, “I think that anyone that would be serious about seeking the Republican nomination would need to be in this contest by June.
“When we have an announcement to make, it will be well before late June.”
I believe that if Pence does run, it will only be if DeSantis sits this one out.
I think Pence sees himself and DeSantis as the only real threats to Trump, and both of them can clearly not run and have a chance to beat Trump.
Honestly, in Pence’s case, that is not even realistic regardless of what DeSantis does.
