You want to know why Pete Buttigieg and Joe Biden were and are so hesitant to go to the accident site in East Palestine, OH?
My guess is because they know the situation there is far worse than the media is letting on.
To that point, workers are now reporting illnesses, some very bad, yet the media, for the most part, is ignoring the story.
Reports Flooding In
Union representative Jonathon Long penned a letter to the Biden administration this week alerting them to the fact that rail workers are getting very sick.
In part, the letter stated, “Many other Employees reported that they continue to experience migraines and nausea, days after the derailment, and they all suspect that they were willingly exposed to these chemicals at the direction of NS [Norfolk Southern].
“This lack of concern for the Workers’ safety and well-being is, again, a basic tenet of NS’s cost-cutting business model.”
Many of the workers are experiencing migraines, nausea, and a host of other problems.

They are also now worried about the long-term effects of the chemical exposure from the accident.
This, of course, does not even include the residents that were exposed to these issues right after the crash happened.
My guess is that we are just seeing the tip of iceberg, especially where the residents are concerned.
Something tells me that health issues will be popping up over the next decade, if not longer, from those that were exposed to this mess.
