This mess with the classified documents gets better and better with every passing hour.
We just found out why the FBI was not involved in the search at Biden’s residence.
That would be because Merrick Garland told them to stand down, more than likely at the request of Biden.
So, instead of the FBI conducting the search, Biden had attorneys that did not have security clearances do the search.
He Did What?
Most legal experts believe that Biden’s team should have been removed from the picture as soon as the special counsel was appointed.
At that point, he should have been in control of the search, not Garland and surely not Biden’s team.
The complete opposite of that happened, however.
The Wall Street Journal reported, “Mr. Biden’s legal team prepared to search his other properties for any similar documents, and discussed with the Justice Department the prospect of having FBI agents present while Mr. Biden’s lawyers conducted the additional searches.
“Instead, the two sides agreed that Mr. Biden’s personal attorneys would inspect the homes, notify the Justice Department as soon as they identified any other potentially classified records, and arrange for law-enforcement authorities to take them.”
So now we rely on the thief to let us know what he has stolen.
Jonathan Turley, the constitutional expert that testified at Trump’s impeachment, stated, “It’s strange Biden did not use security officers or the FBI to conduct further searches.
“The president has a host of people who regularly handle classified material. So why use the lawyers?”
He would go on to say the primary reason was so Biden’s team could control the narrative, an option that never should have been on the board.
All Garland is doing is proving how corrupt our government is from top to bottom.
