Our military is just a complete mess right now.
Over and above the woke problems and recruitment issues the military is having, now they are having a rather significant equipment issue.
So much so, an entire fleet of tankers has been grounded.

The entire fleet of KC-135 Stratotanker had to be grounded.
There is a problem with the tail section that could cause the entire tail assembly to fall off if the parts are not checked.
Col. Michael Kovalchek, Senior Materiel Leader with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Legacy Tanker Division, stated, “We’re taking this action out of an abundance of caution, after consulting with our engineering experts.
“We are working closely with Air Mobility Command and all operational users and anticipate all potentially affected aircraft will be inspected.”
The entire inspection process is expected to take about two weeks.
In reality, however, these tankers need to be replaced.
They have been in service since the 1950s and clearly need to be upgraded.
Instead of sending money over to Ukraine, perhaps we could give our own military a nice little boost.
