Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is finally getting to work.
After spending most of her first two years grabbing headlines and posting on social media, she is now writing legislation.
She unveiled the ELON Act this week, and Dems are not too happy about it.
The Elon Act
The full name of the legislation is the Exposing Lewd Outlays for Social Networking Companies Act.
It is obviously named after Elon Musk.
This would require reporting of all government money spent with big tech going back to 2015.
Boebert stated, “Big Tech is in bed with the FBI and other agencies to the point where Congress can’t tell where one ends and the other begins.
“The millions of dollars sent to Twitter that we know of during an election year, when they were at the same time censoring the Hunter Biden laptop from hell, is incredibly concerning.”
My latest piece of legislation, the ELON Act, will require that federal agencies report ALL federal funds that have gone to social media companies since January 2015.
This bill is absolutely necessary for transparency.@ElonMusk might like the name, too. https://t.co/msnvjaGD3j

Something tells me that if we see those reports, we may just be surprised by how much money the GOP sent there as well.
I am all with you Rep. Boebert… let’s get those records exposed!
