Republicans have been telling the nation what they’ll be doing after November. Democrats are trying to scare you about those actions, telling you it’s all evil. Biden and the Democrats capitalized on their power and pushed through lots of legislation recently, campaigning on accomplishments that the nation doesn’t seem to care about. “See what we did for you” isn’t working so Republicans promise disaster.
Democrats are screaming
That Republican ideas are the downfall of the nation. Rep. Pat Ryan of NY said we have “a coordinated domestic attempt to undermine our Constitution.” Florida Democrat Max Frost accused Governor DeSantis of trying to build “right-wing fascist power”.
The New Hampshire Democrat Rep. Chris Pappas alleged his opponent’s view on abortion would strip them of choice, saying, “It wouldn’t be a woman’s choice — it would be the government’s choice”. Biden joined the chorus, saying, “This November, you have to choose to be a nation of hope, unity and optimism — or a nation of fear, division and darkness.”
Democrats don’t want unity
Biden continued, putting down half the country. “I remember I got beat up in the campaign by saying that I wanted to unify the country and unify the parties. You used to be able to do that. But things have changed a whole bunch. The MAGA Republicans control the Republican Party right now, and that’s self-evident. That’s self-evident. So there’s a lot at stake here.”
The country isn’t looking healthy so the message had to change. Gas prices have risen everyday for the past 31 days with Los Angeles county at a record $6.47.
Democrats with Jimmy Carter
Food prices are at 13.5% as of August over the year before, the worst since March 1979. This is Jimmy Carter territory. Mortgage rates are at 7%. Just before Biden took office, Freddie Mac was offering at 2.66% interest.
Crime, hunger and homelessness are off the charts. Our border is open with illegal immigrants flooding in. Parents are fighting liberal ideas in schools educating their kids and World War III looms over Russia’s Ukraine invasion.
Democrats can only run on negatives
They have to paint the other party as being bad. The Washington Post said, “Many Democrats have largely settled on a campaign message, and it’s not one that simply emphasizes their accomplishments. Instead, it amounts to a stark warning: If Republicans take power, they will establish a dystopia that cripples democracy and eviscerates abortion rights and other freedoms.”
Americans are wondering how to feed their families. Government is worried about if the United States will exist next year. Republican strategist Corry Bliss said, “Talking about January 6th and whether we have a democracy next year is a really important issue in Washington, D.C. But it’s not an important issue to voters in the real world. In the real world, voters care about the price of groceries, the price of gas, being able to walk down the street and feel safe.”
