Unfortunately the increase in number of illegal migrants has become a reality during Biden’s watch, as migrants have become more and more confident to cross the border without any concern for consequences due to Biden’s weak policy. But the worst part is that the hard-earned taxes of hard-working Americans are being utilized to support these illegal migrants.
What Texas Governor Greg Abbott has chosen to do with these illegal immigrants certainly serves as an effective yet amusing move.
Abbott’s decision to leave them on the steps of Congress is meant to be a direct shot at Joe Biden, who originally served the problem in Texas to begin with.
Biden’s lax immigration and border security policies have negatively impacted Texas more than anywhere else, as the state has, as a result, received over 2 million illegals who have crossed the southern border in 2021.
Fox News reported that the first two busloads of migrants have arrived within the past week.
A second bus from Texas arrived near the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., just before 4:30 a.m. Thursday, transporting more than a dozen illegal immigrants as part of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s new plan to counter federal immigration policies during an ongoing border crisis.
Abbott announced last week that he was directing the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to transport migrants released from federal custody in Texas to the nation’s capital and other locations outside his state.
Fourteen migrants stepped off the bus a block from Union Station on First Street. The migrants are from Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and Colombia, one man said.
Abbott posted a tweet that contained a video from Fox News which shows migrants arriving in the nation’s capital on the first bus.
“As the federal government continues to turn a blind eye to the border crisis, Texas will remain steadfast in our efforts to fill in the gaps & keep Texans safe. We should not have to bear the burden of Biden’s failure to secure our border. A second bus is en route.”

According to TDEM, Abbott’s plan is already working. The agency told Fox News on Monday that many of the communities that originally reached out for support – from the Rio Grande Valley to Terrell County – say the federal government stopped dropping immigrants in their towns since Abbott’s announcement on April 6.
TDEM said it dispatched buses over the weekend to border communities where it coordinated with officials to identify these immigrants. The agency added that each bus has the capacity and supplies necessary to carry up to 40 migrants released in Texas communities and transport them to Washington, D.C.
The governor’s legal authority to transport busloads of migrants to the U.S. Capitol remains in question. The 2012 Supreme Court case Arizona v. the United States prevents states from making their own immigration policies.
Abbott insists that the federal government is failing to adequately address the situation.
“Texans demand and deserve an aggressive, comprehensive strategy to secure our border—not President Biden’s lackluster leadership,” Abbott said in a statement. “As the federal government continues to roll back commonsense policies that once kept our communities safe, our local law enforcement has stepped up to protect Texans from dangerous criminals, deadly drugs, and illegal contraband flooding into the Lone Star State.”
Its clear that the public does not want illegal immigration, however Biden will probably break the record he set only only this past year. This is an incredibly undemocratic action that not only goes against both the law but also the wishes of the people who elected him.
Hopefully Biden will recognize this situation is truly his problem if hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants turn up on his doorstep in Washington and, as a result, do something about it.
