Kash Patel Bombshell News

Trump is not afraid to slash and burn the FBI. Earlier in the month the transition team thought Patel would head the CIA instead but “permanent” Washington, including Republicans, might not vote to confirm him. The intelligence community is on Trump’s short list for being gutted. Patel’s parents immigrated from India.  He started as a DOJ prosecutor before moving into the National Security Council.

Patel for the FBI

Politico said the CIA role “does not require Senate confirmation — a concern for other roles, like FBI director, Patel is said to be interested in.” Trump put out a statement:

“Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and ‘America First’ fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People. This FBI will end the growing crime epidemic in America, dismantle the migrant criminal gangs, and stop the evil scourge of human and drug trafficking across the Border. Kash will work under our great Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to bring back Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity to the FBI.”

Patel helped Nunes put a memo together about the Steele dossier, the Mueller investigation, the Russiagate hoax and FBI misconduct in all of them. Even thought the Democrats lambasted the document, most of it turned out to be true.

Trump should go after institutions

The media will put a particular quote on repeat from Patel when he spoke on a Steve Bannon podcast in 2023. He thought Trump should “go after” those that deliberately spread lies.

There are conspirators everywhere. “We’ve got to put in all-American patriots top to bottom.” DOJ people “will go out and find the conspirators, not just in government but in the media … Yes, we’re going to come after the people in the media who lied about American citizens, who helped Joe Biden rig presidential elections – we’re going to come after you.”

If he were FBI director

Patel declared, “I’d shut down the FBI Hoover Building [in Washington, D.C.] on day one and reopen the next day as a museum of the deep state. And I’d take the 7,000 employees that work in that building and send them across America to chase down criminals.”

This will get people’s attention. Is it too harsh of a blueprint right out of the gate? Maybe, but it’s a step in the right direction.
