Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) likes to put up this front like she wants to unite the country, but that is the furthest thing from the truth.
Pelosi has been gaslighting voters for years, and behind the scenes, she is even worse.
A report broke this week in the Washington Post about some horrific comments Pelosi made to some of the newer members of Congress in the Republican Party.
Just Nasty
Pelosi has said some rather divisive things in her day, but this report is a disgrace, especially when you consider Pelosi’s role in leadership.
For instance, regarding Donald Trump, she has stated, “Nothing that I do has anything to do with him, except his downfall.”
When new members of Congress have approached her to offer an olive branch over a shared Italian heritage, she has slapped it away if they are associated with Trump.
Pelosi has reportedly told them, “I do not like you. I’m out to get you, I’m out to get you.”
Keep in mind, this report surfaced after the Trump assassination attempt where Biden had stated, “Unity is the most elusive of goals right now, nothing is more important for us now than standing together.
“We debate and disagree. We compare and contrast the character of the candidates, the records, the issues, the agenda, the vision for America. … Politics must never be a literal battlefield and, God forbid, a killing field.”
We all knew that was a lie, though, because Biden himself started spewing hateful rhetoric about two days after he made that statement.
These are gaslighting, hateful, despicable people, but the media continues to portray us as the bad guys.
