The Biden family’s team of expensive lawyers pulled out the heavy artillery and aimed it squarely at an FBI “confidential source.” Nobody is saying how Alexander Smirnov was tricked into setting foot on American soil but on February 14 he was arrested at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s really interesting that they’re arresting him now, because all along he’s been described as a “well paid” and “trustworthy” rat for the FBI. Suddenly, they’re calling him a liar. Despite the doctrine of “innocent until proven guilty,” Biden family lawyers already have him tried and convicted in the press. Isn’t he supposed to have a chance to give his side of it in court? Apparently, not when you have dirt on Joe Biden. He’ll be lucky if he lives to see an arraignment.
Source under indictment
You may remember that notorious source interview “FD-1023 form” that FBI Director Christopher Wray almost took contempt of Congress charges over. The one that Iowa Senator Charles Grassley read into the public record on the Senate floor. When he got done reading what the rat had to say, Grassley demanded to know if the FBI ever bothered to find out if what he had to say is true or not. It seems that they didn’t but they are now.
Suddenly, after all these years, the FBI decided their pet rat was lying. Okay, James Comer counters, so he was lying. That still doesn’t explain the money that came from Burisma and went to the Bidens. Comer has the bank records for that. The money came in at the same time Burisma’s problem prosecutor was fired. Which just happens to be what the rat allegedly lied about.
Democrat shill Jamie Raskin has been using his planted position on the House Oversight Committee to sabotage the probe into Biden family crimes, every chance he gets. It’s not surprising that he would use the “indictment” of a controversial source witness as an excuse to “end their impeachment inquiry.”

Joe’s not getting out of it that easy. Merrick Garland and the DOJ couldn’t wait to announce “charges against Alexander Smirnov, 43, based on accusations that he made up claims regarding Biden.” Those accusations remain to be proven.
Officially, Smirnov was charged with “making a false statement and creating a false and fictitious record as part of the investigation being led by special counsel David Weiss.” The timing is incredibly suspicious.
Along with the interview form detailing what the “confidential source” had to say second-hand from Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky, there were footnotes referring to other interviews backing up what he had to say. The feds haven’t turned those over to Congress yet, despite repeated threats. They may need to arrest and charge more sources with lying. After they trick them into landing in the U.S.
Not so key evidence
The “key” evidence which Special Counsel David Weiss claims Republicans are using to impeach Joe Biden with isn’t as crucial as Weiss and the Biden family lawyers are making it out to be.
While the information on the controversial source interview form does corroborate the other evidence they found, there is other evidence. A lot of it.
When Comer heard Raskin’s tirade he replied back, calling his Democrat colleague “a broken record having called for an end to our investigation since the day it started.” Not only that, “he isn’t credible. The American people demand the truth and accountability for any wrongdoing. We will continue to follow the facts to propose legislation to reform federal ethics laws and to determine whether articles of impeachment are warranted.”
#Breaking News: The Biden DOJ strikes again, this time arresting FBI informant Alexander Smirnov, who has been an informant for Congress in the Biden Burisma investigation.

Whether the source lied or not was never an issue. The question everyone is still stepping around is: “did the FBI investigate what he had to say and if so, what did they find.” The DOJ still doesn’t want to answer that one.
The public already knows that the “source” reported to his handlers at the bureau that Zlochevsky told him he was being shaken down by Joe Biden. He said Joe wanted him to hire Hunter and his buddy Devon Archer. Zlochevsky did. He said Joe wanted $5 million. Joe got it and Comer has the wire transfer records. He said Joe would make Burisma’s “problem prosecutor” go away. Viktor Shokin was fired.
What exactly is it that the source allegedly lied about? That the call happened on Tuesday when it was really Wednesday? We’ll be watching for this trial with great interest.
