Well, well, well… Trump may get his pint of blood from the media after all.
Democrat operative George Stephanopoulos had put a report on ABC News that claimed Trump had been found liable for rape, and made the allegation numerous times.
The report was referring to the E. Jean Carroll case, but there was a major problem for ABC.
Bad Reporting
The jury in the case did not find Trump liable for rape, but for lesser sexual assault.
The judge, however, in his statement after the verdict, took it upon himself to write, “The finding that Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was ‘raped’ within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape.’”
Donald Trump’s suit stated, “Stephanopoulos’ false, defamatory, and misleading statements about Plaintiff immediately spread like wildfire, as numerous third parties and media outlets repeated and reposted them to countless viewers.”
ABC News motioned to have the case dismissed but the judge rejected the motion, and ruled that Trump can move forward with his case.
Trump immediately posted on Truth Social, “A power case! Before you know it, the fake news media will be forced by the courts to start telling the truth.
“This is a great day for our country. MAGA2024!”
I would really love to see Trump win this case and stick to the media and Stephanopoulos.
He has been a Democrat operative pretending to be a news anchor for long enough, so, hopefully, Trump can make them both pay.
The question, however, will be if the attorneys are able to rule out what the judge said and lean into the jury verdict.
As usual, this is just going to depend on the people sitting in the box, and Trump has not had much luck on that front as of late.
