Tiger and Charlie Woods

Tiger Woods’ Son Just Did What Tiger Could Never Do

I think most golfers would consider Tiger Woods as one of the Top 5 golfers of all time, if not the greatest ever.

Had he been able to enjoy a full career without injuries, it is likely that the remaining records that Jack Nicklaus holds would have been shattered.

As great as Tiger was, though, there is one thing he did not do that his son recently accomplished.

Charlie Woods

If you follow Tiger on social media, you cannot help but wonder just how good his son Charlie is going to be.

This is a mini-version of Tiger, right down to the mannerisms on the golf course.

Somehow, a high school championship evaded Woods during his young career because state championships were not instituted at the time, but Charlie has already put that notch on his belt.

The younger Woods and his teammates from The Benjamin School just took down the Florida State High School Golf Championship.

The two-day FHSAA Class A state championship was held at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-In-The-Hills, FL.

Charlie, who is a freshman, shot a 78 and a 76 in his championship rounds, finishing 26th overall while the team notched its fourth state title.

The real test for Charlie is going to be if he can match his father’s U.S. Junior Amateur title wins, which Tiger won three times as a junior golfer.

Charlie is already outdriving his father from time to time when they tee it up together, so this is definitely not out of the question.

Hopefully, in about eight years, we get to see a reboot of Tiger on tour in the form of Charlie.
