Anytime you hear Democrats claim that they don’t want to take something away from you, it’s a pretty obvious sign that they do. And this recent executive order signed by Colorado Governor Jared Polis has really passed over the borderline of crazy.
The order signed by Polis states that he wants everyone in his state to ditch their gas-powered lawn equipment. The goal is to phase out the use of these tools by June 1, 2025 for environmental reasons.
But what he isn’t telling people is that this switch will cost millions in taxpayer dollars and could lead to an outright ban of these tools in metro areas.
Governor Polis has issued an executive order that requires all state-run facilities to phase out the use of gas-powered lawn care equipment by 2025.
He claims that this will reduce air pollution and advance water conservation – but what he isn’t saying is how much taxpayers are going to have to pay for this initiative.
Not only this, but Governor Polis also wants private citizens and businesses to follow suit by switching over to electric lawn care tools as well – something which many simply won’t be able to afford because costs would skyrocket due to government regulations.
But this move towards taking away our rights doesn’t stop with gas-powered lawn care equipment.
Just months ago, federal officials floated the idea of banning gas stoves across the nation – though liberals immediately denied ever wanting such a thing when public outrage sparked at the news.
Then suddenly New York banned them in most new buildings and now Biden administration is coming after gas generators too.
This kind of behavior should be a wake up call for everyone who values their freedom and right not just here in Colorado but across America as well: Democrats want nothing less than complete control over every tiny aspect of our lives.
We must stand firm together against any further attempts at authoritarianism before it’s too late – we can no longer accept their empty promises or dismiss them as conspiracy theorists any longer.
