In the ongoing “As the Bidens Turn” crime drama, Hunter is losing a lawyer. In the process, he’s gaining a defense witness. His ultra-expensive counsel, Abbe Lowell, is moving Christopher Clark out of the picture and sidelining him, if the judge approves. Lawyer to take the stand
On Tuesday, August 15, Hunter Biden’s “lead” defense lawyer, Christopher Clark, begged the federal court for “permission to withdraw from the case because he could now be called as a witness in future proceedings.” In legalese, they call that “knowing where the bodies are buried.”
It’s now up to the same judge who threw the plea deal into chaos whether to let him off the case or not. Considering the request is reasonable under the circumstances, she’ll most likely grant it.
Hunter’s entire legal team was in on drafting the motion. “Based on recent developments,” they write, “it appears that the negotiation and drafting of the plea agreement and diversion agreement will be contested, and Mr. Clark is a percipient witness to those issues.”

The shifting of one lawyer on to the witness list won’t make a dent in the way they put the case together but will give Clark extra protections in the upcoming court scuffle. He’s going to need all the padding he can get.
You would think Clark would be afraid of the prosecutor but that’s not the case. David Weiss is on their side. He wanted to let Hunter free all along and never planned to need Special Counsel status. Now that he has it, nothing has really changed.
The fix is still in and he’ll only use an extended investigation to evade Congress. That’s the real reason they’re covering Clark up now. They don’t want to shield him from Weiss, they’re hiding the prime lawyer away from James Comer and Jim Jordan.
Already a done deal
Abbe Lowell is convinced that not only is the elevation of Weiss to Special Prosecutor meaningless, it’s too late. They already have a deal and it’s a binding contract on the Prosecutor.
The lawyer they want to stash away already signed off on the important part which makes all future prosecution of anyone named Biden disappear. The pact with the devil is buried in the related “diversion agreement” to resolve the gun possession charge.
U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika smelled a rat when she saw some language in the sweetheart plea agreement of the century which she had never seen before in her legal career. “Is this even legal?” She asked.

She also demanded both sides explain the deal to her in easy terms the court and any appeals judges can clearly understand. With the reminder that Congress is watching over their shoulders. Along with asking the judge to sideline the chief lawyer, they pleaded for “the judge to withdraw a late August deadline she previously gave both sides to re-negotiate the agreements after she refused to approve them at a hearing last month.”
In a filing on Sunday, they argued that “the gun diversion deal” was still “valid and binding.” Hunter’s high paid lawyer, Abbe Lowell, “placed blame on prosecutors for drafting the agreements the judge took issue with.” They made an offer, Hunter accepted it.
All the elements of a contract are sewn up tight. “Mutual assent, expressed by a valid offer and acceptance; adequate consideration; capacity; and legality.” Whoah, hold on, not so fast, Congress yells. That “legality” part is still totally up in the air.
