An Army National Guard soldier from Missouri did the unthinkable.
Thankfully, it was all caught on video.
Fox News had video evidence of the soldier opening up a fence on private property and allowing illegal immigrants to enter the country.
After the fence is opened, a bus immediately arrives, as does a Border Patrol vehicle, and the migrants are whisked away.
How Can This Be Legal?
The incident happened at Eagle Pass, which has one of the higher rates of illegal immigration along the border.
As this all goes down, another Border Patrol vehicle, a boat that is on the nearby river, also pulls up to the area to observe.
Border Patrol says there is nothing to see here, however.
The agency stated, “The video shows U.S. Border Patrol enforcing U.S. immigration laws, which require Agents to take those who enter the country without authorization into custody and to place them into removal proceedings.
“Those individuals had already crossed the Rio Grande from Mexico and were already on U.S. soil.”
You tell me if this looks legal…

This also goes against what Biden stated troops were doing at the border.
While Governor Abbott has Texas National Guard troops actively protecting the border, the troops that are under federal orders were only supposed to be serving in support roles.
So, while Biden and Mayorkas keep telling everyone that our border is closed, that is clearly not the case.
I understand the law that once they cross and enter U.S. soil, they are then taken into custody, but does anyone really think it was an accident that such a large group was able to pass over into U.S. territory without being challenged conveniently where there is a fence opening to allow them in?
That boat was on the scene very quickly, so why were these migrants not stopped before they crossed the river?
As one person noted online, you cannot get into secured office buildings this easy, yet these migrants just cruise in.
So, yeah, I am going to say the border is open.
