Tensions have been running high in Washington, D.C., as the Biden Administration has come under fire for meeting with Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office weeks before he brought charges against former President Donald Trump over his alleged mishandling of classified documents, according to a report from the New York Post.
White House visitor logs show that Jay Bratt, who joined Smith’s staff shortly after his appointment in November 2022, met with Caroline Saba and Danielle Ray at the White House on March 31st, 2023 – just nine weeks before charges were filed against the former president.

This news has raised serious concerns among legal experts and Republicans alike, including Rudy Giuliani and Jonathan Turley who have called out what many are calling the “Biden state police” – an apparent attempt by the administration to use its power to take down their political opponents during election season.
Carr Peter from Smith’s office said that Bratt was at the White House for a “case-related interview,” but no further details about what took place during these meetings have been released.
In addition to the March meeting, records show that Jay Bratt had two other meetings at The White House prior- one in November 2021 when negotiations between Trump and the National Archives were taking place regarding presidential records from his Mar-A-Lago estate, and another with an advisor for The White House Chief of Staff’s Office in 2021.
Little is known about Mr. Bratt or why he was involved in these meetings but it does raise suspicions about possible coordination between members of the Biden Administration.
It remains unclear how this news may affect Donald Trump’s current case against him as no details have been released yet about what was discussed during those meetings or even if they had anything to do with Mr. Trump’s case specifically.
However, it does give us some insight into possible motives behind The Biden Administration which could be seen as troubling considering we are right around election time here in America.
