It would appear that Biden’s French buddy is going off the rails.
Actually, I am not even sure he is Biden’s buddy any longer.
President Emmanuel Marcon seems to have gone a bit rogue, so much so, his own people are now calling him out.
My Own Thing
In addition to calling Macron a “madman,” Boris Vallaud, the Socialist Party leader, stated, “Humiliation is a form of government method with Emmanuel Macron.”
Macron has been trying to force thought his own reforms, and the country has seen significant protesting in response.
Macron has made some rather troublesome comments, openly backing China rather than the U.S., even though the two countries have been allies since virtually the birth of our nation.
Macron stated, “The question Europeans need to answer … is it in our interest to accelerate [a crisis] on Taiwan? No.
“The worse thing would be to think that we Europeans must become followers on this topic and take our cue from the U.S. agenda and a Chinese overreaction.
“Europeans cannot resolve the crisis in Ukraine; how can we credibly say on Taiwan, ‘watch out, if you do something wrong we will be there’?
“If you really want to increase tensions that’s the way to do it.”
His comments were not taken lightly by Biden opponents, most of whom are now ringing the panic button that the United States has become a paper tiger.
