Casey Grayson, fugitive number three out of four who went missing, has been accounted for and is no longer a threat. Jerry Raynes was taken into custody at Spring Valley, Texas and the charred remains of Dylan Arrington were “pulled from the burned wreckage of a home in Carthage, Mississippi.” Corey Harrison remains dangerously on the loose.
Fugitive found dead
Fugitive Casey Grayson, age 34, turned up in New Orleans, Louisiana. His lifeless body was discovered on Sunday, inside a “vehicle at a truck stop.”
Over a week ago, four inmates of a Mississippi detention center decided they had enough of the bad food and sparse accommodations, so escaped. They seem to have “camped” on the roof of the jail long enough for the convicts to make their escapes separately over a span of days.
Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones told the press that police think “a family member” provided the fugitive with the vehicle after Grayson made his escape. All it took was a hot dose of his favorite opiate, after being clean for a while lowered his tolerance.

“There was drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics recovered in close proximity to where he was discovered in the vehicle.” That’s typical in fentanyl related overdoses.
That leaves only one fugitive still on the loose, Corey Harrison. All authorities have to say about him is that he’s “still at large.” They haven’t got a single clue other than that.
Police arrested Jerry Raynes about 10 miles west of Houston, Texas in Spring Valley. They nabbed him on Thursday after he stole a public works vehicle.
Facing extradition back
As related by Sheriff Jones, Raynes is “facing extradition back to Mississippi and an investigation is still ongoing.” They had the Marshals Service, Harris County Sheriff’s Office and Spring Valley Police Department all involved in his capture.
Fugitive number two, Dylan Arrington, caused quite a bit of trouble for the community while he was running around loose.
Jones had separately confirmed the 22-year-old fugitive was dead. He barricaded himself “in a central Mississippi home.” During an armed standoff with police, he set the house on fire and burned himself alive inside. The coroner identified his charred remains.

Before checking himself out in a blaze of glory, “Arrington shot a deputy in the lower right leg.” The night before he murdered Pastor Anthony Watts, 61, to steal his pickup truck.
The fiery end Arrington met is fitting for his transition to the afterlife. He ought to be assigned a particularly intense inferno of torment for what he did to Pastor Watts.
The man of the cloth was “was shot and killed Monday night on Interstate 55 in Jackson after he pulled over to help a man who had wrecked a motorcycle.” Officials noted that the fugitive “shot Watts several times and then stole his Red Dodge Ram.“
