ICYMI – Russia reportedly had its worst day of the war.
If reports are accurate, more than 1,000 Russian troops have been lost in a single day.
This is arguably the deadliest day of fighting to date in this war.
Bad Day
General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spokesperson Oleksandr Shtupun broke the news.
He claims that the Russians lost 1090 troops at the hands of Ukrainian troops.
In addition to all those soldiers, Ukraine also claims it destroyed eight Russian tanks, seven armored fighting vehicles, and four artillery systems in the fighting.
Prior to the announcement, the largest single-day total had been 1,030, which happened just a month ago days prior to the anniversary of the conflict.
Putin loaded up his forces for this big offensive, but he continues to take it on the chin.
Even so, the Russians continue to mount pressure, at least for the time being.
The pictures that surfaced from Ukraine were atrocious, with a once-thriving city reduced to rubble.
And you know who is going to get stuck with the bill for the rebuilding of the country, right?
