In today’s world, if you attack a Democrat on the campaign trail, you usually get tagged as being a racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic, anti-Semitic, or some other “ist,” “ism,” or “ic” word.
Nikki Haley dared to say that if we are going to have 80-year-old people in office, perhaps we should have mental competency tests.
As expected, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who is older than dirt himself, called her out for ageism.
Nikki would have the last laugh, literally.
You Are the Reason
Watching Joe Biden shuffle around the White House, it is hard to argue with her point.
Sanders, however, called her premise “absurd.”
He added, “We are fighting racism, we’re fighting sexism, we’re fighting homophobia — I think we should also be fighting ageism.”
During a rally after Sanders came after her, Haley stated, “Bernie Sanders lost his mind because I asked for that.
“He is exactly the reason we need it.”
That got a loud laugh from the crowd, so Haley kept going, stating, “Whoopi Goldberg lost her mind over it — and you know what she was doing?
“She was glorifying Dianne Feinstein and Maxine Waters.
“They are exactly the reason we need it.”
I have to give that round to Haley!
